What does unmetered mean?
A plan that is defined umetered means that we are not going to bill you for the amount you will use. You do not have to worry about the resources but please note customers must follow our terms of service. Of course these resources are not infinite . Using our unmetered plans for backup purpose or any activity that is not normal will be monitored and suspended. As for disk space we will assign a defined disk space initially when customer requests for more we will monitor his account and give him more disk without any additional charge. It hardly happens but If resource usage of a customer is impacting our server’s overall performance for example due to streaming multimedia etc we will put constraints on that account.
What does unlimited domains mean?
With our business shared hosting plan you can host unlimited number of domains. For the first 2 domains it is not important who is your domain Registrar but for additional domains as long as you register them through us you can host them in the same plan without additional charge.
Our staff is in Korea. should I ask our korean office to proceed?
You do not need to ask your staff in Korea to act on your behalf and register an account. You can simply register and proceed with it yourself however If you want, after registration you can add his/her email address as a contact point. After you place your order and register at our website in profile section you will have an option to add as many contact as you want and give them different permissions . For example you can let them be notified about any future invoices and make payment however if you think you want a tax invoice for your office in Korea you need to contact us and let us know so we can include your company to our electronic tax list.
Why should I host in South Korea?
Generally, you should get your web servers as ‘close’ to the audience as possible.
the number of routers data has to cross between your site visitors dialup connection and your web hosting server should be minimised. If your visitors are in Asia Japan, Korea , China etc…
How to pay in Korean currency?
Korean currency is for those who order from within South Korea. To pay in Korean currency please proceed with your order in US Dollars, sign up but in final stage when prompted to make payment stop and simply contact us. Make sure you provide your Korean address and mobile phone number when registering. As soon as your order is received the same day business hours we will change your currency and send a notification to your mobile phone in your profile so you can proceed with payment. What CMS ( Content management system) Do you support?
You can install any CMS in our hosting plans . If you are not sure simply let us know the CMS information page and requirements. Most of the time we come up with some thing to meet your requirements
Will you transfer my old host to your host for free?
Yes and No it depends on how complicated your website is and what kind of control panel your old host had.
Upon your request We will move the primary domain of the hosting account free of charge within 10 days of signup. Additional domains or sub domains are not included in the free transfer service. The majority of transfers are completed in less than 48 hours, however, due to the nature of some transfers and depending on how many are currently in the queue, it could take up to 72~96 hours before everything is completed.
We support Major control panels , Directadmin, Plesk etc
However we mostly accept Cpanel to Cpanel transfer only
Is mass mailing allowed?
We do not tolerate spam and mass mailing. Even news letter is not allowed in our servers. If you need to send mass mailing with your hosting account you can contact us and we will offer you additional services ( external mailing ). The reason is that if even one recipient complain against you, the IP address of the server will be banned by anti-spam groups Yahoo, MSN (hotmail) and ISP . This result other customers on the same server experience unneccessary disruption with their emails too.
Will my hosting IP be in Korea?
Yes. Your site will be hosted in Korea Data center with Korean IP and all support will be in English language.
I am already hosting with another company, what should I take into account before transferring to you?
As long as you have authority over your domain name that means you can login and change the information like name servers. You can sign up with us and simply change your name servers to our name servers. Please note you can also keep your main hosting with another company while you host just a portion of your website with us. For example a sub domain : korea.yourdomain.com can be hosted in Korea while yourdomain.com is hosted somewhere else. Do you need help? Simply contact us and we will guide you. We can also help you with transfer.
Can I contact support 24/7?
Yes our technical support is 24/7 .
Even though you can contact us any time unless there is a very urgent request Please make sure you avoid weekends, holidays and always consider our time in Korea. If you contact us in office hours we can respond your tickets faster as we have more technicians available at our data center.
Are there certain Scripts you do not allow on your servers?
If you are curious about a certain script , please let us have the details on how the script functions and any other information we need to know. Please do not ask us if ‘Script such and such’ is all right without giving information on it. There are thousands of scripts and software available and we might not know about it.
Do you allow adult contents?
NO ! South Korea has a very strict rule and our company does not allow adult content.
Do you offer cpanel?
Yes, Most of our shared hosting offers some sort of control panel. Cpanel, Direct admin etc
How secure is your hosting?
We always do our best to secure our system from hacking, hardware failures … All servers are located in our own highly secure data centers in South Korea. Access to our servers is tightly controlled and limited to essential personnel . We use secure firewall with multiple layers of protection. Depending on the shared hosting plan you will have cloudlinux enabled too.
